Hillside Retaining Walls Flatten Hillside To Install Swimming Pool?

Flatten hillside to install swimming pool? - hillside retaining walls

We have to climb in our yard. It is a wall, 5 feet "exploitation" of the hill. The hill is about 30x100 feet. We thought it was an interesting idea to dig a section of the hill, maybe 10x20, and install built a swimming pool. Of course, you have to install a new retaining wall behind the pool, perhaps 10 meters high.

Is this something that is possible? Anyone who has experience trying to install a pool on a hill? Any rough estimate of the cost?

Thank you for the advice.

Not only possible, it has done this before. If you throw the money is no problem. You only need a good engineer, and some heavy equipment, not much concrete, workers from the EU to remember, and finds it in no time. Or six months later.

I did not bother the mountain ... too much work ... and would be trouble with the sliding hill ... Test above ground swimming pool .....
